The Silt Historical Park is a great place to discover commonly used artifacts at the turn of the 19th to 20th century.

Silt became Silt in 1892, previous to that it was private property owned by Mr. Fergueson. Since Silt is a place where you can cross the Colorado River, it was called Fergueson’s Crossing.

Silt has a historic bank that is going to be renovated.

The Miner’s Claim restaurant is located in a historic cabin.

There is one book on Silt, called Homesteads, by Alice Boulton.
